Acer E210

Acer introduced a new Android handphone to the market. It is Acer beTouch E210. It uses Android OS v2.2 Froyo. Acer E210 is completed with full QWERTY keyboard and optical trackpad for navigation. It was segmented to the entry level market.
  
Design
Acer E210 uses plastic material to cover the whole body with a chrome list entire body to make it more elegant. It uses a resistive touch screen 2.6 inches with 320 x 240 resolutions. Its dimension is 116 x 63 x 12 mm, 109 gram. Under the screen, there are a lot of buttons: Call, Home, Menu, Back, Search, and End Call. In the middle of it, there is an optical trackpad for navigation. There is also full QWERTY keyboard as an alternative input method to make easy when texting.
On the right side, there is USB micro port for charging and data. On the left, there is a standard 3.5 mm audio jack. On the rear, there are 3.15 megapixels camera and speaker grills.

Operating System
Acer E210 uses Android v2.2 Froyo and supports with Qualcomm MSM7227 600 Mhz processor. On the home screen area, there are 5 main menus that you can customize as you want with widgets and wallpaper. Navigation can be done by optical trackpad or touching screen.

Multimedia
Acer E210 uses a 3.15 megapixels camera (2048 x 1536 pixels) with geo-tagging but without flash. It also support to record in video.
Music player is in an average. The speaker is quite loud but not very clearly. It will show artists, albums, songs, playlist, and now playing. Its capability to play music and video is the same as others Android phone.

Internet and Connectivity
Acer E210 uses a quad-band GSM and supports HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, HSUPA 2 Mbps. Acer E210 also comes with Wi-Fi for connectivity in the hotspot, A-GPS, and Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP profile to connect devices with other wireless devices.
The default browser of the Acer E210 is quite good. It could open 8 pages in the same time. Because of its screen to small, it makes uncomfortable when browsing.
