Bada OS has all the prerequisites for modern mobile OS - homescreens that comes with widgets, social networks are integrated with the phonebook, the ability to copy and paste, song recognition, basic editing capabilities for video and images. The main drawback of the Bada OS is still there are not many third party apps to use. Bada OS 1.2 is only capable of multitasking done for basic applications such as calendar and email.

In addition, Samsung Wace II has Bluetooth 3.0, A-GPS, DLNA for media sharing, and FM radio.
Dolphin, default browser Bada OS 1.2, gets some improvements, especially in terms of speed. But the basic support such as HTML5 and Flash Lite 3.xx is still the same. In addition, the browser still does not support text reflow correctly so that makes everything look too small when the browser is made fit to screen. The browser uses a high compression for web images, so to load pages quickly, but the resulting look is very bad.
