Design
The dimension is 4.88” x 2.48” x 0.43” (measured in inches) and weight is 129 grams. Nexus S uses the basic formations similar to the Galaxy S, only corner section of Nexus S is more rounded. It has capacitive touch screen LCD, the Contour Display with concave glass, 16 million colors, 4 inch screen, resolution is 480x800 pixels. Just as in the Galaxy SL, screen LCD's Nexus S display images with good contrast. This screen is also classified as very good in responding to any touch input. The Contour Display uses a thin-profile glass panel, making Nexus S uniquely slim and trim.
It uses 1 GHz Hummingbird processor paired with 16GB of internal memory. Nexus S is manufactured by Samsung, and it is the first smartphone to launch with a Contour Display. The curved glass screen fits comfortably in the palm of your hand and along the side of your face.
A brighter screen with higher contrast means colors are incredibly vibrant, text is crisp at any size, and luminance is up to 1.5x higher than conventional LCD displays.
Operating System
It based on Android Gingerbread (v2.3) with Android's UI standards. Gingerbread on Nexus S has an amazing performance. Menus open faster, tabs are more responsive, and web pages load quicker with virtually no lag time. Switch between apps effortlessly with true multitasking on Android. Standard homescreen is display with 5 panels to put the various shortcuts and widgets. The main menu presents the standard Android applications that are categorized as minimal.
Multimedia
It does facility with 5 MP (2560 x 1920) camera with LED flash, autofocus, geo-tagging, secondary VGA camera. Camera features are standard features, such as touch focus, smile shot, face detection and panorama which can usually be found on the smartphone Samsung hi-end output. Even so standard features such as exposure, color effects and scene modes can still be used
The quality of a maximum resolution to record video is WVGA (720x480 pixels) @ 30fps. Samsung Nexus S is only capable of recording WVGA resolution video in 3gp format. The video recorder is also minimal features such as photo camera features. Video player supports the formats 3gp, mp4, m4v, avi. To play a video, you can access the gallery and then choose your video collections are displayed with photographs and images stored in the phone.
It supports mp3, amr, wav.Nothing special about the music player on this phone, Nexus S does not even provide a common equalizer settings.
Internet & Connectivity
Surfing using the Galaxy would be nice. With 4-inch screen, it would satisfy the eye. This phone is the default browser was fairly rich in features. It is browser support HTML, Supports Flash Player 10.2, multi-windows browsing, zooming pinch, RSS feeds, share page. You can freely choose portrait or landscape view simply by rotating the orientation of the phone while surfing.
For connectivity, It has HSDPA, 7.2 Mbps; HSUPA, 5.76 Mbps, Wifi, Bluetooth, USB 2.0, and could be a portable hotspot. In terms of connectivity, Nexus S offers many alternatives to connect to the internet and other devices. The interesting feature of course, tethering and portable hotspot that serves to divide the data path operators used in the Nexus S to a computer or other device.
Explore the world in 3D from the palm of your hand using Google Maps 5.0 with Navigation (Beta), Places, and Latitude. Zoom, tilt, and rotate the map with two fingers to explore cities in 3D.
